We’re thrilled to announce that for the 2025 Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT), we’ll be opening our very own camping site to welcome visitors from near and far. Our campsite will be conveniently located in our spacious bottom paddock, offering a unique and comfortable base just a short distance from all the RIAT action. You can book a pitch for 1, 2, 3 or 4 nights using the calendar below.

Costs: £12 per adult, infants (0-2 yrs) free, dogs £1. Please note 1 vehicle is included at no extra charge, additional vehicles are £10 each. If you require an additional pitch these are also £10. If you require more than an 8×5 pitch, please purchase additional pitches at the next stage of checkout, and we will endeavour to ensure they are co-joined, subject to availability.

What happens on arrival?

On arrival please pull into the main gateway and show your booking email to the attendants. They will remind you of the basic site rules, point out the various facilities, and direct you to your pitch.

What size are the pitches?

The pitches are standard Caravan Club G type, on grass with no services, measuring 5m x 8m. If your tents or vehicles need more space then you will need to purchase multiple pitches.

What facilities will be available?

There will be a water stand pipe, basic portable loos, and dustbins in a waste collection area.

Please note that there is no dedicated baby changing facility available.

Will the onsite café be open?

The onsite café (Mrs Claus’ Tearooms) will be open for eat in or takeaway food from 6am -10am, and 4pm  – 7pm, starting on the afternoon of 18th, closing on the morning of 21st.

Breakfast baps and drinks have a takeaway option but other items are eat-in. You can pre-book items at the checkout.

What are the campsite rules?

  1. No fires of any kind, including barbecues
  2. No smoking/vaping on site
  3. No vehicles/combinations over 8 metres
  4. No noise after 23:00 or before 07:00.
  5. No caravans allowed.

 

Do we get a ticket?

The booking confirmation email is your ticket, please bring this along with you when checking in.

Wheelchair access

Our tracks are made of crushed stone, and this can provide a degree of difficulty for some mobility vehicles and pushchairs with small wheels. We have never failed to get someone to where they wish to go.

We have no steps, only ramps, and all doorways are wide enough for wheel chairs and prams.

If anyone is experiencing difficulty getting around we will provide staff to help if requested.

Will you take bookings on the day?

Payment on the gate will be available, but subject to availability.

The campsite will be closed to new arrivals after 7pm each day.
